Aleksandra Moiseenko

Graphic Artist, Illustrator.

Studying the classical book illustration at the HSE Art&Design School. Studied painting and academic drawing at the Moscow State Academic Institute named after V.I.Surikov. Graduated in Political Science (MA in Political Science).
As an artist with the social sciences background, she have a statement about to bear testimony of the lived and experienced and to do artistic study of communication between people, societies, institutions, eras and ideas.
Since 2021 participant of numerous solo and group exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
May 2022 – the personal exhibition in the Moscow office of Amnesty International (closed in Russia in May, 2022).
September 2022-February 2023 — traveling personal art-project «What remains?» (September 2022 — Belgrade, October 2022 – Rome, tbc).
August 2022-February 2023 – participant of the exhibition “Sandarmokh – where the trees have faces” in several Czech cities (organized by the Czech Department of the International Historical Educational Charitable and Human Rights Society «Memorial»).
Leads the open group «Painters» for all young artists (up to 35 years and older).
The paintings are in private collections in Amsterdam, Rome, Riga, Belgrade, Ottawa.
